The lawyers and paralegals that comprise this group have extensive experience in handling commercial finance transactions of varying size and complexity. For example, it is not unusual for members of the Business Finance Group to be concurrently involved with a $3,000,000 working capital financing, a $100,000,000 multi-lender syndicated cash flow transaction and a $250,000,000 asset-backed warehouse/repurchase financing.
The Business Finance Group represents a myriad of financial institutions such as domestic and foreign banks, bank holding companies, investment banks, leasing companies, asset-based lenders and finance companies.
We counsel and advise our clients in structuring, negotiating and closing finance transactions in various areas including working capital and acquisition lines of credit, asset based and cash flow lending, letter of credit and trade finance and domestic and international syndicated loan transactions with borrowers of all types, including ESOPS and entities involved in a broad range of industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, apparel, media and transportation. The Business Finance Group has expertise in creating and perfecting security interests in all types of assets, including receivables, inventory, equipment, real estate, fixtures, chattel paper, intellectual property, securities and other instruments.
The Business Finance Group in addition to being involved in new financings from the structuring and proposal stage through closing, actively advises clients and handles many loan workouts and restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings and Chapter 11 reorganizations.
The Business Finance Group is also engaged in connection with aircraft and equipment leasing, asset-backed warehouse and repurchase transactions and factoring and other off balance sheet financings. We advise our investment banking clients and document the purchase, sale and design of financial derivatives, including interest rate and currency swap transactions and other new financial products.
We implement a team approach and draw upon the firm's resources in order to consummate transactions. The Business Finance Group utilizes the expertise of our real estate, employee benefits, tax, bankruptcy and creditors rights groups.
